About the role
Together with care homes we are looking into whether changes in older people can be noticed earlier. That takes models that work reliably, transparently and with as little data as possible.
You own this work from the first hypothesis to production.
What you will do
- Develop, evaluate and improve models for speech and language understanding.
- Turn research questions from care homes into clean experiments.
- Build evaluations that can be trusted in a sensitive setting.
- Bring models into production and monitor them there.
- Design for data protection and the EU AI Act from the start.
What you bring
- Several years of experience in machine learning, ideally with speech or audio data.
- Experience taking models from experiment to production.
- Care in handling sensitive data.
- An appetite for ownership in a small team.
Nice to have
- Publications or projects in speech processing.
- Experience in healthcare.
